Baobab Children Foundation

Founded by German teacher Edith de Vos, the Baobab Children Foundation takes in street children and young school dropouts in Ghana who are too poor to attend primary school.

At Baobab, young people learn to read, write, do arithmetic and speak English, while also learning a trade. They are given another chance. They are given a future. The foundation accompanies the children on their journey to an independent life.

Formesse & Baobab

Since the Jaschke family, owners of Formesse, met founder Edith de Vos in person more than 10 years ago, supporting the Baobab Children Foundation has become a matter close to Formesse's heart. Since then, we have regularly supported the foundation with donations and are delighted with the wonderful projects that bring smiles to so many children's faces and with the fantastic development of Baobab in Ghana.
