In addition to our commitment to the German textile industry and mindful consumption of textiles, we at Formesse regularly support many different projects and donate to humanitarian aid organisations when there is a current need.

Furthermore, our large, natural outdoor area is very important to us and we do a lot - together with the Southern Black Forest Nature Park - to maintain it and further develop it with local plants for the Black Forest insect and animal world.

Formesse supports many different projects in regular, reliable cycles (monthly to annually). In doing so, we try to create a good mix and take into account both people and nature.

In the last two financial years, Formesse has donated between 0.4% and 0.5% of its turnover.

If you also take into account our support for global climate protection projects via Climate Partner AG, we are talking about 1.0% - 1.3% of our turnover in donations for social, humanitarian, sporting and nature-related projects.

Baobab Children Foundation, Ghana
We have been in close contact with the founder of this NGO, Edit de Vos, since 2005.
We have been supporting this project with monthly donations since 2007. While Mrs de Voss initially pursued her vision of helping needy children in Ghana on her own, today 54 people work for Baobab and earn their living in this way.
We are delighted that we were (and still are) able to make a contribution!
Laurin Wehrle, Löffingen
We have been supporting triathlete Laurin Wehrle since 2022. We know Laurin and his family personally and were thus directly convinced of his great passion and talent. We are very proud of this young man who, with great discipline and commitment, has already achieved a number of successes.
Naturnahes Außengelände, Löffingen
We support the ‘Blooming Southern Black Forest Nature Park’ project and design the green area around our company to be flower-rich, insect- and animal-friendly. We let natural hedges grow, provide small animals with natural hiding and nesting places, offer watercourses and small ponds and have put up nesting houses for birds. We also allow our meadows to bloom naturally and support the growth of native, insect-friendly plant species with site-adapted seed mixtures.

Diakonie Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald
Since December 2005, we have been supporting the regional social welfare organisation Diakonie and its services for people with chronic mental illness or mental stress. The social-psychiatric service regularly offers various programmes as part of a leisure club.
Donations of goods, Deutschland
We have also donated fabrics and fitted sheets to social organisations such as Innatura. The non-profit organisation innatura operates Germany's first platform that provides brand-new donations of goods to charitable organisations according to their needs.
