Supercombed, long staple cotton is used to produce exceptionally fine and even cotton yarn. When two of these threads are twisted together, you get a particularly tear-resistant, hard-wearing twisted yarn. Gassing, which uses a flame to remove protruding fibres, makes the yarn even more uniform and removes the any final ends.
No protruding fibre ends prevents pilling.

Pilling does not occur in Bella Donna PURE.

Thanks to special knitting settings, Bella Donna PURE has round knitted loops that are plump and pearly.
By using a larger amount of yarn (even more twisted yarn than in our Bella Donna Jersey) and a looser knitting technique, the loops are knitted more voluminously, giving them more air and space. The result is a beautifully stretchy single jersey fabric without elastane that moulds to your mattress.

The special knitting technique and perfect tailoring result in the excellent fit of Bella Donna PURE. Thanks to the robust, all-round elasticated edge, the sides of the fitted sheet stay where they belong: under the mattress.
Unlike Bella Donna Jersey, the fit is not crease-free. This can only be achieved using elastane. Bella Donna PURE will lie in soft waves on your mattress when you get out of bed in the morning.

Beautiful movement against the mattress

Bella Donna PURE feels like a combination of knitted jersey and woven fabric. The pearly surface is cool and firm, reminiscent of a beautiful linen weave. But thanks to the voluminous, interwoven knitted loops, the fabric is soft and supple, hugging the mattress and yielding under the body.
The high quality and longevity of this fabric is tangible, thanks to the use of larger amounts of yarn and the resulting heavier weight of the fabric.
